Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts (LCPA) is a cultural and civic cornerstone of New York City. The primary advocate for the entire Lincoln Center campus, our strategic priorities include: fostering collaboration and deepening impact across the Lincoln Center resident organizations; championing inclusion and increasing the accessibility and reach of Lincoln Center’s work; and nurturing innovation on stage and off to help ensure the arts are at the center of civic life for all. LCPA presents hundreds of programs each year, offered primarily for free and choose-what-you-pay, including many specially designed for young audiences, families, and those with disabilities.

Access:Horror Presents: Tropes and Traps for Filmmakers
Tropes and Traps for Filmmakers is a conversation about how a lack of representation on the screen and repetition of the same tropes in the genres of horror and documentary, allow damaging cultural attitudes to persist around disability. This panel talk with notable filmmakers from the disability community will discuss how these tropes harm us all, and how we can change the narrative.

I absolutely love her! Just a class act and timeless beauty ❤️ She sounds amazing
La clave secreta! Mas Na’
Обрезали самое красиво место в конце 🙄
But how does one get chords for this song tho? 😅
You can tell she was classically trained. Always on key and tons of control.
Cynthia is waaay btr than Whitney..even b4 the Drugs...
CAROUSEL is definitely not a musical "comedy" by any strech of the imagination. Billy is an anti-hero who bullies his spouse, attempts a robbery and takes his own life. Nothing funny about any of that!
Kelli O'Hara is an outstanding Julie.
Julian Assange is quite a conductor!
I thought Music for 18 Musicians was to played without a conductor. That must be a challenge for the musicians, but that is how I have seen it performed.
can we see the whole performance? incredible!
Your phrasing and pitch makes it your own. So lovely girl.
I have huge respect for Ariana as a queer woman of colour in a white, male-dominated industry, but her singing is just plain and lack musicality especially for a broadway singer. She also has the tendency to sacrifice pitch in favour of style.
I SAW THIS FOR THE FIRST TIME IN THE 7TH GRADE AT THE FOX THEATER IN ATLANTA N I'VE NEVER FORGOTTEN IT..... I LOVE ALVIN AILEY DANCE
Very, very good. The best I’ve seen I think. And I’ve seen a lot.
really sophisticated version. really dig the dancing
OMG! Another ancient Emily Hopkins as a baby video. I just love that YT keeps dragging up these ancient videos from the archives! Go Emily! Yay!
Stella performance by Cynthia and her outfit looks gorgeous on her. Brava👏🎶 👏
That thing is a dude look at that melon and those hands! What a freak
That thing is a dude
This is fantastic. Great job on the video and thanks for the suggestion to begin reading The Amsterdam News daily online. I learned about San Juan Hill because of Thelonius Monk and his family. Also from the West Side Story movie of the 60s. That movie was filmed right after the neighborhood was vacated and the buildings were marked for demolition which I didn't know until last year.
Pianist ❤

No Kidding...if Frank heard this...Im guessing he would really like it....Maybe up to the part about the Hairweave LOL but Im also thinking, he would have had to listen to this more than once. maybe frank would sing along.... lol hey..... its a catchy tune...and its easy to dance to...lol
Loved this arrangement of the song!
Groove understood!
Title: First Rehearsal of "The Public Domain" [Scene: A small community theater. The stage is bare, with a few chairs scattered around. The cast members are gathered on stage, chatting and getting ready for the first rehearsal of "The Public Domain." The director, Sarah, enters and calls for everyone's attention.] Sarah: Alright, everyone, settle down! Thank you all for being here today for our first rehearsal of "The Public Domain." I'm excited to get started on this project, so let's dive right in. First off, I want to introduce our amazing cast. Give them a round of applause, please! [Applause from the cast members] Sarah: Now, before we begin, I want to remind you all of the importance of this play. "The Public Domain" explores the concept of intellectual property, copyright, and the power of creativity in a digital age. It's a thought-provoking piece, and I hope we can bring it to life in a meaningful way. [The cast members nod, expressing their understanding and enthusiasm.] Sarah: Alright, let's start by doing a read-through of the script. I want to get a sense of the flow and the characters' dynamics. Remember, this is just a starting point, so feel free to experiment and bring your own ideas to the table. [The cast members take their places, scripts in hand. They begin to read their lines, bringing the characters to life. As they progress through the scenes, the director occasionally stops them to offer suggestions and clarify certain moments.] Sarah: Excellent job so far, everyone! I'm really impressed with how you're embodying these complex characters. Now, let's work on some specific scenes that require a bit more finesse. Let's start with the opening scene, where the protagonist, Alex, discovers the vast world of the public domain. [Alex, played by Mark, stands up and walks to the center of the stage. The other cast members adjust their positions accordingly.] Sarah: Mark, I want you to dig deeper into Alex's curiosity and sense of wonder as he explores the public domain. Let's see if we can make his journey even more captivating. [Mark nods and takes a moment to absorb the feedback. He then delivers his lines with a renewed sense of enthusiasm and curiosity, capturing the essence of Alex's character.] Sarah: That was fantastic, Mark! I felt the excitement building up. Now, in the following scene, where Alex confronts the challenges of copyright infringement, I want to see more of the character's internal conflict. Let's emphasize the moral dilemma here. [The cast members continue to rehearse, taking Sarah's guidance and incorporating it into their performances. As the rehearsal progresses, the scenes become more polished and the characters more fully realized.] Sarah: Alright, everyone, that's a wrap for today! I'm incredibly proud of the progress we've made during this first rehearsal. Remember to review your lines and come prepared for our next session. Keep exploring the depths of your characters and let's continue to bring "The Public Domain" to life! [The cast members gather their belongings and exit the stage, buzzing with excitement and anticipation for their next rehearsal.]
